Transitions

In the Media Pool tab "Templates", you can find all transitions from Photostory deluxe sorted into various categories. Click on a category to see all the transitions in a list.

In detail:

Transitions are a very effective stylistic device for adding life to your slideshow. With Photostory deluxe, there are many ways to fade from one picture in a slideshow into another. This means that for the duration of a transition, two photos are being shown at once and they can be mixed together in different ways. These types of transitions are called "transitions". You can find a wide range of transition types in the Media Pool template folder.

Using transitions

Drag and drop the transition on to the corresponding transition symbol in the slideshow.

Transition menu

Click on a transition in the project to open the transition menu.

You'll find the full range of transitions here, including standard and previously used transitions for quick use as well as settings to define the transition length, for instance. If you've previously selected a transition as a favorite in the Media Pool, it will appear in the favorites list for quick access.

With the "Select random transitions" function, you can use the submenu to define which transitions should be included in the selection when the user picks a random transition for a project.
