Use the Deform effect to stretch, compress, bend, or shear a video event.

Amount |
Drag the slider to set the amount and direction of deformation: negative values deform down or to the left; positive values deform up or to the right. |

Center Image |
Select this checkbox if you want to center the video in the frame after deformation. |

Background Colour |
Click the button and use the color sliders or enter RGB values to choose the color of the background that will be displayed if your video does not fill the entire frame. |

Squeze |
Drag a slider to compress or expand the video at one of its edges: positive settings compress the frame; negative settings expand the frame. |

Shear |
Drag the Horizontal and Vertical sliders to distort the video along the horizontal and vertical axes: Negative values distort up and to the right; positive values distort down and to the left. |

Curve |
Drag the sliders to set the amount and direction of deformation: Positive values distort in the specified direction; negative values distort in the opposite direction. |
