Placing Text Along a Curve
This help topic will show you how to create text that follows a curve.

Add the ProType Titler to a track.

Double-click the workspace to add a text block.

Type your text.

Press Esc to exit text-edit mode. You can use the properties pane to edit text properties, character properties, and text block properties to refine the appearance of your credit roll.

Click the Layout tab in the Text Block Properties pane.

Select the Path check box. A simple curve is applied to your text:

If you want to modify the curve, you can add or remove points or change the curve at each envelope point.

Double-click the curve to add a new point:

Drag a point to change its position on the curve.

Drag the handles on either side of a control point to change the curve:

To delete a control point, right-click it and choose Delete from the shortcut menu.

If you want to change the position of the text on the curve, you can drag the Position on path slider. If you want to animate the text along the path, you can select the Toggle Automation button
next to the Position on path slider and use the Automation Controller to add keyframes.
