Vignette

Outer radius

Drag the slider or enter a value in the edit box to set the size of the vignette.

Inner radius

Drag the slider or enter a value in the edit box to set the size of the center portion of the vignette.

Aspect

Drag the slider or enter a value in the edit box to set the aspect ratio of the vignette.

Center

Enter the coordinates for the center of the effect into the text boxes or drag the circle on the position map to the desired location.

Click the arrow to show or hide the center controls.

Perform any of the following actions to set the center of the effect within your project's video frame:

• Drag the point in the position box:

• Type coordinates in the position box.0.00, 0.00 represents the lower-left corner of the frame, 0.50, 0.50 represents the center, and 1.00, 1.00 represents the upper-right corner.

  

Rotation

Drag the slider or type a value in the box to set the angle of the vignette.

Feather

Drag the slider to determine how smoothly the vignette fades between the Outer radius and Inner radius settings.

Color

Click the arrow to show or hide the color controls.

You can use the color picker, type color values (or names), or use the eyedropper to sample a color from your screen.

The color you select will set the color of the vignette border.

Invert

Select this checkbox if you want the center of the vignette to be solid and the outside of the vignette to be transparent.
