Customizing the toolbar

From the Options menu, choose Customize Toolbar or Customize Timeline Toolbar to add, remove, and rearrange buttons on the toolbar.

NOTE To return the toolbar to its original configuration, click the Reset button.

Adding a button to the toolbar

  1. From the Options menu, choose Customize Toolbar or Customize Timeline Toolbar. The Customize Toolbar dialog box appears.

  2. From the Current toolbar buttons list, select the button for which you want the new button to be added before. For example, if you are adding the Trim button and want it to appear before the Cut button, select the Cut button.

  3. From the Available toolbar buttons list, select the button you want to add and click the Add button. The new button is added to the toolbar.

NOTE A separator may also be added between groups of buttons to separate them into logical groups. To add a separator, select Separator from the Available toolbar buttons list and click the Add button.

Removing a button from the toolbar

From the Current toolbar buttons list, select the button you want to remove and click the Remove button (or double-click the button).

Rearranging buttons on the toolbar

From the Current toolbar buttons list, select the button you want to move and click the Move up or Move Down button.
